Taishin Tigers

This progam is unique to Lincoln Karate Clinic and enrollment is open for children ages 3-7. Students continually work on basic karate and coordination drills that are appropriate for their age group. These classes will have special focus on cooperation and having fun. Students continually work on balance, coordination, and basic karate skills. Also, they have been getting special instruction on stranger danger and how to run away fast and not talk to strangers.

The classes are supervised by Scott Walls, director of the Lincoln Karate Clinic. Mr. Walls has special expertise working with children of all ages and is also an employee of Lincoln Public Schools and is a licensed and nationally certified mental health counselor.

Stop by sometime and visit the Taishin Tigers. This class is very fun and inspiring to watch. Seeing these young children kick, punch, block, bow and do a number of other activities is very exciting.

Testimonial:

“Our son Holden, age 6, began Karate in the fall of 2006.  We wanted him to find something unique that he could do and feel good about his accomplishments.  We chose Lincoln Karate Clinic due to its reputation and Sensei Scott's background in working with challenging children.  Holden has shown progress in his respect of others, manners, and listening skills.  We continually emphasize these traits in all aspects of his day, regardless of where he is at.  Holden is now an Orange Belt and will be getting ready to test for his Blue Belt.  He loves to practice the different forms on non-karate days and all the special classes that Sensei has developed.  We also enjoy the way Sensei will incorporate the parent's involvement in activities to assist the child in continuing to grow in his Karate skills."
